Research Interests
My research focuses on reconstructing paleclimate variability using integrated multi-proxy approaches, with particular emphasis on benthic and planktonic foraminiferal assemblages and their geochemical signatures. I combine foraminifera-based proxies with organic and inorganic geochemical tracers to investigate ocean productivity, oxygenation, and land–ocean coupling in upwelling systems. My work aims to refine proxy calibrations and apply them to high-resolution sediment records better to constrain the spatio-temporal dynamics of coastal upwelling systems.
