Research Interests

• Micropaleontology, Paleoceanography, Biostratigraphy, Sedimentology.
• Foraminifera assemblages and geochemical analyses to assess changes on upwelling properties of the Humboldt Current System and investigate its coupling with the Atacama paleodesert during the Neogene.
• Planktonic Foraminifera assemblages and stable isotope analyses (δ¹⁸O, δ¹³C) as proxies for paleoceanographic reconstructions of Southwestern Atlantic properties (sea surface temperatures, productivity, upper ocean stratification) during the late Quaternary.
