Petroleum Experts Limited (Petex) has granted educational licences of MOVE Suite Software to the Institute of Geology and Mineralogy
Petex is a petroleum engineering and structural geology company based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom that develops software tools. The Move suite is the most complete structural modelling and analysis toolkit available. It provides a platform for integrating and interpreting structural data, cross-section construction, 3D model building, kinematic restoration and validation, geomechanical modelling, fracture modelling, fault response modelling, and fault and stress analysis.
Petex has kindly granted us 10 educational licences of the MOVE suite, which equates to an equivalent donation of £2,506,989.78 UK Sterling of software to the University of Cologne. The Institute of Geology and Mineralogy would like to sincerely thank Petex for this generous donation, which will strongly support our research and teaching.
