Growth of large bulk single crystals is one of the main activities of the Materials Crystallography Group. The crystal gallery presents a selection of crystals that have been grown during the last decades. Applied crystal growth methods are growth from melt or melt solutions, low temperature solution growth, chemical transport reaction growth and growth under mild hydrothermal conditions. Unless otherwise indicated crystals are grown by L. Bohatý or P. Becker-Bohatý with strong support by S. Seidel.
